Soleos Solar GmbH recently made a donation to the citizen's radio for an amount of 500 Euros. With this money Soleos intends to support the survival of the radio and therefore the regional media scene.

For this reason, the employees of Soleos decided to join the charity concert in favour of the citizen's radio in the Alexander-von-Humboldt school. "Our donation shall contribute to give an opportunity to the people to participate actively in the radio program and to report about contemporary issues in the region. As a local company we intend to support regional activities. We would like to cooperate with Studio Merten concerning a report about photovoltaic in order to inform more people about renewable energies and particularly about solar energy", says David Mabille.

Since the amendment of the state media laws, no sufficient funds are provided for the radio. Therefore, its existence is jeopardised because the organisation has to be financed at its own expense. In order to ensure the continuation of the radio, studio manager Otto Ganser is reliant on donations to cover the costs.
