NexPower arrange technical forum for installersSoleos and the Taiwanese PV manufacturer NexPower recently have set up a technical forum. "We initiated the forum in order to come up against the increasing demand of thin film modules. The presentation was primarily addressed at our installers to inform about specific characteristics during installation of NexPower modules", explains Sandra Tabourin, sales manager at Soleos. The information platform was used to refer about the module technology, performance, reliability and quality control as well as the connection with KACO new energy inverters. For this purpose Frank Lin, technical manager at NexPower, Jason Lin, responsible for sales in Germany and Reiner Mayerhöffer, product manager at KACO new energy dealt with these subjects. Because the innovative amorphous and in comparison with crystalline technology less popular thin film technology has reached only ca. 15 % market share. For this reason the companies have decided to start this pilot project in order to find out the resonance with the visitors. "We are very pleased with the course of the technical forum and the encouragement of our customers. This shows that we are on the right track," assumes David Mabille, CEO at Soleos. In order to improve the service Soleos intends to offer technical fora with suppliers in the future. "So, we want to give our customers the opportunity to gain further qualifications and to get the active state of technology at first hand", says David Mabille. |
